Saying goodbye, a new quote

Today, my friends Joli and Dean, and their kidd-os, Mary Beth, Michael and CJ set out on a new adventure. They left Joplin for the great east cost, also known as North Carolina. Dean has taken a new appointment there, as a pastor, and I think it's going to be a great thing for the whole family.
Today, amidst the hustle and bustle of packing the moving truck, I went by not to say goodbye, but to say "See you later." I know in this day of instant communication, we'll e-mail, and call just as much. It still didn't make the day go any easier. It's been a really hard day. I already miss them.
I miss my latte buddy - MB. It was fun watching them grow and change in the last year, and I know this is an amazing opportunity. May God bless them as they travel to NC.

Here's a quote for today. Thanks to Ali Edward's blog. I love raiding her blog for quotes...

Anais Nin : And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

Sometimes it takes risks to try something new, to blossom in a new place, job or situation. It hurts to blossom. But without blossoms, there is no beauty. I hope Dean and Joli and the kids blossom in their new home. I also hope I blossom in all of my ventures.

I'll post some layouts I've made in the last few days this week.
I have some fun layouts of Cyd and Brant's wee ones (after two quick trips to Tulsa) and some fun pics of my neighbor kids shooting off fireworks.
That reminds me. I promised one of the little guys I would bring home sparklers (so i could shoot pics of him playing with them...)

More tomorrow.
