Something to think about

I love quotes.
Here are a few quotes i've stumbled across in the last few days while stalking a few of my favorite blogs...I have a feeling they will make it into my scrapbook layouts soon...

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.”
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ok, I so need to do this. I need to shut my brain off at the end of the day, so I can start the next day with a clean slate -- ready for the next day's pictures and words. I so need to remember this more than I can probably explain.

"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospection."
- Anais Nin

I agree with Jessica Sprague (who's blog I stole this from). I scrap, write and take pics so I can re-live life over and over again. There's something about creating things that I love.

"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury; and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony."
- William Ellery Channing

I need to learn to be content with life, all aspects of my life.
